I know much of the country is buried in snow, but around here...
The crocuses are blooming!
In little patches around the yard...
mostly deep purple ones...
but some pale purple...
and some white...
and if you look closely in the upper right, you'll see the first daffodil just emerging.
Take heart my frozen friends, Spring is coming.
These are beautiful. I love how rich the color is.
ReplyDeleteI really hope we have a nice garden this year. Last year the grasshoppers and heat destroyed everything.
You never know from year to year. I'm thankful we don't have to depend on our garden to eat, like the pioneers did. I hope this is a good year for you.
DeleteLove to see when they pop up out of the garden.
ReplyDeleteOh my how I would love to see anything coming up right now! We are covered in snow and bitter cold. Even though crocuses love cold I think this would be a little chilly for them. Thanks for stopping by and letting me know you liked my Chicken Pot Pie recipe.
ReplyDeleteMmmm... such pretty flowers! It is snowing here right now and I am surrounded by a world of beautiful white, but seeing your flowers is simply lovely :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at Roses of Inspiration. Hugs to you!
